To set your ubuntu machine to use this mirror, you can run:
sudo sed -i -e '/^[^#].*archive\.ubuntu/ s_http[^ ]*/ _http\://ubuntu\.cs\.uaf\.edu/ubuntu _' /etc/apt/sources.list
Or, from Synaptic, go to settings > repositories, and choose ubuntu.cs.uaf.edu from the list after selecting "Download from: Other"
